It would be disingenuous of me to claim that I do not have an agenda. My agenda is to create an equitable border situation, deprive the coyotes and smugglers of their profit incentive, and take land and resources from Mexico. The benefit to the Mestizo or indigenous population is a side issue. The status quo of the Bracero program and the maquilodora programs do not benefit the US economically, and they are exploited by foreign interests from Korea, Malaysia, and China. Mexico is not now, nor have they ever been, our friends. Look at the support given for the WOT. And they said we deserved September 11th. Everyone forgot that. Mexico refused to agree with the Afghan invasion.
