In recent weeks, media reports from both Iraq and Afghanistan have suggested the appearance of a slow evolution of the Islamist insurgents' tactics in the direction of the battlefield deployment of larger mujahideen units that attack "harder" facilities.

These attacks are not replacing small-unit attacks, ambushes, kidnappings, assassinations and suicide bombings in either country, but rather seem to be initial and tentative forays toward another stage of fighting.

I listened to that interview on Fox and Friends this morning with Mr. Berg and Edie Hill.

No matter how many times I hear Mr. Berg or Cindy Sheehan; I am always stunned and amazed regarding their willful ignorance and childlike failure to recognize facts.

"Swiss 'foiled hit on Israeli jet'"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Swiss intelligence agents have foiled a plot to attack an Israeli El Al airliner, officials report.
The federal prosecutors' office said seven people of North African origin had been arrested.

It said law enforcement agencies in other European countries, notably France and Spain, had played a part in the investigation.

According to Israeli media, terrorists planned to use a rocket to bring down an El Al plane in Geneva last December.

The anti-terror operation was launched on 12 May in Zurich and Basel, the authorities said.

Philippe Roy, spokesman for Geneva airport, told the French news agency AFP that El Al had halted flights to the city for a week last December, officially for "commercial or technical" reasons."
