Veterans can now show their support for Diana Irey, running in the 12th PA District against John Murtha. They can sign up on the web site Vets4Irey.com It has been reported that Murtha has made many comments about the Iraqi situation to include: "there's no progress at all", "it's worse than it was prewar", "we should immediately redeploy", "War cannot be won on the ground", "I have said it's a civil war", "We cannot win this militarily. Our tactics themselves keep us from winning," These have all undermined our military's efforts in Iraq and tend to demoralize our troops.
He has made some recent statements about the incident in Haditha to include: "we have become a catalyst for violence", Marines "killed innocent civilians in cold blood." at Haditha, "I will not excuse murder, and this is what happened", "This is worse than Abu Ghraib", "Hopefully, this is an isolated incident. But we're supposed to be selling ideas of America, ideals of America, and we're losing that war."
Mr. Murtha has failed to give the Marines the "presumption of innocence until proven guilty."
Veterans across the country have been outraged at his statements. Now they have a means to make a statement to Mr. Murtha by supporting his opponent Diana Irey.

Murtha started all of by pronouncing:
"The Army is broken."
All spiraled out of control from there as he tried to undo yet outdo his obviously false assessment.
