On Brown vs. Board of Education, Topeka
"If Brown was just about letting Black people into a White school, well we dont care about that anymore. We dont necessarily want to go to White schools. What we want to do is teach ourselves, teach our children the way we have of teaching. We dont want to drink from a White water fountain, we have our own wells and our natural reservoirs and our way of collecting rain in our aqueducts. We dont need a White water fountain. So the whole issue of segregation and the whole issue of the Civil Rights Movement is all within the box of White culture and White supremacy. We should not still be fighting for what they have. We are not interested in what they have because we have so much more and because the world is so much larger. And ultimately the White way, the American way, the neo liberal, capitalist way of life will eventually lead to our own destruction. And so it isnt about an argument of joining neo liberalism, its about us being able, as human beings, to surpass the barrier." - Marcos Aguilar, founder and principal of La Academia del Pueblo

Our mission is to provide urban children of immigrant native families an excellent education founded upon their own language, cultural values, and global realities through a k-8 California public charter school to fulfill our commitment to justice, freedom and dignity in education.
Google is your friend.
Well, now you've done it! They went offline, LOL.
I did google and read about the school which implies state funding. I was wondering specifically about the Communist Flag reference and the funding from Mecha/La Raza.
Bill Gates' foundation also funds some of these schools.
I just clicked the link & it worked.
It seems to be working now. No info on flag, but I found the funding.

I got to the first page but had problems loading any of the others. After a while, it worked fine. It could have been a problem on my end (ISP).
Again, thanks for the link!
This is the stuff they are teaching at that school. If Antonio Viiargrosia gets his hands on the LAUSD this will be taught at LAUSD schools.

So the state of California and the United States government are promoting hate.
Interesting too is that both the state and federal government use the SPLC as a consultant on "hate". Where is Mr. Dees when you need him.
This should be brought to a federal court and an injunction should be sought to stop fed funding of this overtly racist and anti-American group. If more Americans heard about this, the pressure on congress would be enormous to cut them off.
They have apparently found their piggy bank. One of them, anyway. The following table is a summary of info found at Citizens Against Government Waste, from their annual "Pig Booklet" publications. http://www.cagw.org/site/PageServer?pagename=reports_pigbook2005

It is also funded by the "Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation"
"They believe that SW USA belongs to Mexico, and they intend to take it back."
Well, they are off to a good start in California.
LOL!
A lawyer from the school called KABC and told them the school was going to file a lawsuit against THEM!
