Perhaps if Dean didn't back killing babies and homosexual 'marriage', the Dems might stand a chance.

This bloke is a 24 carat lunatic!

The religious voters didn't embrace the Republican Party by choice. They vote Republican because the Democrats drove them away.

They want religious votes, but they don't want the voters' values.

The religious right either votes Republican or they stay home, which is nearly as good as voting for a Democrat.

"To that end, Dean recently appeared on Pat Robertson's "700 Club." The appearance wasn't without its bumps. Dean had to later apologize to gay-rights leaders for incorrectly stating during the program that the party's platform said "marriage is between a man and a woman." "

I wish I had seen that interview. I bet it was a hoot...

"Dean had to later apologize to gay-rights leaders for incorrectly stating during the program that the party's platform said "marriage is between a man and a woman."

It's always easy to apologize after the fact, especially when the apology will get no air time, is only made to a select group.

"Our Democratic values are American values," Dean said. "Most people in this county, including evangelicals, think it's immoral to let children go to bed hungry at night. They think it's immoral not to have everyone in some kind of health insurance."

Forget it Dean, as long as your party promotes killing babies, and homosexual special rights, you have no morals. While Christians do believe it's immoral to knowing let children go to bed hungry, we are also the first to step up and do something about it. We are also the first to reach out in others ways, hence the term, "Faith Based Initiative" And Health insurance is an employment issue, not a moral one. The immoral issue in health care is the cost and Big Pharmaceuticals, pushing drugs (chemicals) instead of cures since there is no money in cure, or vaccine's for that matter.

If he keeps killing babies and bending over for gays he isn't going to get anywhere.

Nothing more inspiring than the Democrats' effort to lure Christians into their party. Rather than actually trying to inspire Christians to support them by demonstration of strong faith and relying on that faith, they play a "shell game," trying to lure Christians with rhetoric.

Does any Christian actually think that the Democrats are ever going to stop supporting such anti-Christian political stands as homosexual adoption and marriage, abortion on demand, and the mythical concept of separation of Church and state?

Kos and the DUers will roast Dean on a spit if there's any 'outreach' to Christians. Besides, I don't think the Democrats could do a convincing job of it. In other forums where I get into arguments with what I assume to be Democrats, the raw anti-Christian hatred is breathtaking. Even though I'm not a Christian myself, I get a kick out of telling them what a gaggle of bigoted dimwits they are for spitting on a religion that's done nothing to them except dare to exist. It always gets me called 'fundie' and worse.

It makes one stop and wonder: If Democrats had not been Pro-Abortion leaders the past several decades, their political numbers and clout would be much greater. The babies aborted in decades past would have grown to be voters and parents & grandparents of voters today. They have effectively aborted millions of potential little Dem. voters out of existence. Dean is a sick man leading the sick and his appearance on the 700 club shows how far he will go to succeed his sick party goals.
