...."In addition to video from the drone, investigators have records of radio message traffic between the Marines and a command center, said military defense lawyers who have discussed the investigation with Marines who were at Haditha but who have not yet been formally retained by them.
"There's a ton of information that isn't out there yet," said one lawyer, who, like the others, would speak only on the condition of anonymity because a potential client has not been charged.
The radio message traffic, he said, will provide a different view of the incident than has been presented by Rep. John P. Murtha, D-Pa., and other members of Congress.
For example, he said, contrary to Murtha's account, it will show that the Marines came under small-arms fire after the roadside explosion.
The presence of the drone is potentially significant because such surveillance craft are in high demand in Iraq and their use is supervised by senior officers -- which could indicate there was interest among higher officers about what was occurring in Haditha."

Welcome to FreeRepublic
What's your personal opinion on the story you posted?
Liberals, Democrats, MSM and the a**holes who support them, think nothing of trashing Marines just to bash the President. Make no mistake, trashing the military, Freedom, and National Security, is all about hating Bush. I never hated Clinton as much this. During Memorial Day weekend when real Americans are remembering those who made us what are as a Nation, the abovementioned buttwipes are sharing a community nocturnal emmission over rumors of a possible My-Lai. No matter what happens, it is some comfort to me knowing that all of my faults (and there are many), would never even come close to being a liberal democrat America Hater..
No they won't...they never do, why would they start now?
Welcome to FR.
This article has been posted here earlier today- there are several ongoing discussions about Haditha on Free Republic.
You are probably right after all. To some, personal destruction is a sport.
Unfortunately, I fear they wont. the MSM media will bury anything that discounts their charges - on the back pages in very small print.
The socialist scum know that the story - no matter how false - that gets told first is the one that sticks
No, they won't. Bush will lose points, the US image will suffer overseas, the media will make sure, and the Dems will love it.
Damage done.
No they won't. They'll just twist it to say that it was Bush's fault that the terrorists were forced to hide among women and children in order to fight our overwhelming might. They'll argue that if weren't there then the terrorists will have no need to put women and children at risk of being killed by the American military.

....we are not wrong...
No, even the granolas at work are staying away from this one. Kind of like the first time poster who gave us this thread is staying away from responding. He is the third one I have seen in the last two hours.
Welcome to FR. I will bet you are not a friendly.
Yes. The Chapel Hill DA comes to mind.
On another thread, I read that a 12 year old's version of events has already been discounted. I haven't started a file on this matter and so don't have the comment and thread saved.
Amomg others...
The charge, no matter how outrageous, no matter true or false, is far more important to a lefty than any evidence to support the allegation. That is their stock in trade.
Turn on Hannity, he's discussing this right now...
I'm trying hard to keep up with this Peach- if you start a list of some kind- keep me on it please:)
