It must be tough keeping track of all the workmen doing your chores when you have as many multi-million dollar mansions as Senator Dianne Feinstein and her fabulously wealthy husband Richard Blum. The latest addition to the property collection is a 16 million dollar house in San Francisco, located adjacent to a public right-of-way along steps run up a hill.
The workmen doing the gardening and renovation on the njew digs ripped up an entire formal garden located on public land.
If it sounds like her crew went too far in digging up a public space, we should point out there is some ambiguitybecause the landscaping around the Lyon Street steps is supposed to be maintained by the neighbors, in this case Feinstein and her husband.
And the couple were actually working up plans to give the area a total makeoverincluding putting up a gate and fence around the Lyon Street entrance.
Some security is obviously important, and yet we want to do it in a way that it doesnt take away from the public space, Feinstein said.
We will pay the city to do the work, she said. I regret (the garden) was taken out before we were ready to go in with the new stuff.

ahhhhh Diane FineSwine --- All animals are created equal. It's just that some animals are more equal than others.
Nice to see those regular Jane type Dems!! Didn't her hubbie makes his millions from the Chinese?
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
Do as we say, not as we do....
That "after" picture is ever so much more attractive.

Then give the public their land back.
Gawd, democrats are stupid people.
Feinstein proves once again that she is a hypocritical arrogant snot. With tons of money.
As in filthy capitalist dollars? I thought progressives never touch the stuff.
$16 million for a public walkway across your front porch? Idiots with money.
Looks bad enough in color.
That is one ugly looking house. Do you think we can talk Senator into putting a lawn jockey on the front lawn? OK, just kidding.
Now the formal garden looked nice. The house looks so...well pedestrian! LOL!
I wonder how many illegal aliens worked on that project?
But I'm feeling MUCH better now.
She married "Mr. Rogers?"
She probably dug it up because the 9th Circuit ruled that the garden did not give equal soil access to weeds (sorry, "minority wildflowers") and invasives (sorry, "undocumented perennials")
That's John Astin in the photo, (The Addams Family).
1313 Mockingbird Lane?
City Attorney Tom Carr and Ken Bounds, the head of Seattle Parks and Recreation, told The Seattle Times that Judge J. Farris paid $500,000, plus interest, he owed for the damage done in the park in 2002. Farris is a judge on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Yes, I know, it was a joke. His and Patty Duke's son Sean did such a good character role on 24 this season as well.
Not sure is he has retired. I see Patty Duke doing suff that the wife watches on O network and Hallmark.
