To: snugs
Take care hope to catch you on the dose later.

I've said this before, but the only thing keeping us and the English from truly understanding each other is the fact that we share a "common" language.

You'll need to explain to me what 'catch you on the dose later' means.  I'll simply let you know that "a dose" is slang over here for contracting a social disease (as well as common phrase for a cure of same).

LOL. The "dose" is the Day in the Life of President Bush daily thread, but on some days it can feel like taking a mood altering drug, in a good way.

I believe and I'am sure Snugs will correct me. "catch you on the dose" means catch you later, or see you on the flip-side as the kids use to say.

Innocent little me had not thought of it in that connotation, yes the dose does mean that in Britain as well.

What I meant was the dose on FR which is the Day in the Life of President Bush thread which has a nick name of the daily dose of dubya.

I post the thread twice a week and always check in each evening so was using the term "catch you" as see you later.
