I just love how Murtha sat there all self-righteously, and said NO ONE had done more, or had more respect for the troops than him..
Then, in the next breath, called them cold blooded killers, on GOSSIP...did you hear how many times he said, "I heard"...or "someone said"???
IT's obvious that most of the illegal Mexicons are mighty fine people. But, so are wannabe American citizens in the rest of the world. And some can do a lot more important work than tend Teddy's garden, or pour his drinks. Some have the potential to be rocket scientists etc. computer guys, well... you get it.
At the very least it is most un-American to allow one minority group access over another simply because they can sneak cross an unprotected border at will.
Shhhhh!!
No problem sleuth.
Actually, what Murtha was saying about the "cover-up" was almost identical to what they were saying about Abu Gharib...even though, the MEDIA, therefore the politicians WERE notified about AG, right after it became known.
Therefore, what Murtha is saying makes no difference...his talk is all innuendo, gossip, hate, and politicking for Nov.
His sanctimony sticks in the craw. He made a career out of controlling contracts for military provision, a self-enriching endeavor, not caring a whit about the military and what they do and can do. It makes me sad.
Oh, something else, I heard an interview with a soldier at Walter Reed on Laura Ingraham's show a couple of weeks ago...and he said that right after the war started, there was all kinds of celebrities and politicians that came to Walter Reed, night and day...
He said now, not so much....it made me cry.
THAT is why what you and the DC Chapter do every week is so darned important and admirable. Thank you.
"Nude Republican Women" website???
ROFLMAO....granted Republican women ARE nicer looking, but sir, we are LADIES, doncha know??
Thank you....
LOL..this time I actually checked to see what the post said...hehe
You mispelled "gummit boondoggle"
To be perfectly correct it's "gubuvmint boondoggle"
Bingo! And how many former marines(Dems or pubbies) do you know that sit around and demagogue a war that is setting oppressed people free with meaningless blather day after day.
It does not pass the smell test, unless you consider another agenda. I say the other agenda is his corruption problems which will one day boil over. He passed out defense contracts for all the wrong reasons and it has surfaced on here several times. Once it hits critical mass he needs a fall back position. He needs to be able to claim that we "ugly conservatives are just picking on him for his stance on the war", and wala he has his built in excuse already in place.
Did either of you see the news reports from Nogales on Fox today...
There were three or four of them...each a little different..but they were all about the sewer pipes and stuff that the illegals use...
and all of the ways the BP have tried to catch them.
I was surprised (given the rhetoric about how Bush hasn't done ANYTHING to stop illegals) at how many ways they have been trying to stop them..
And the disgusting, and time consuming ways the illegals have used to get here.
I didn't know if I was more disgusted with them, or pitied them...but, I found out something about myself..
It didn't make me want the Senate bill anymore, which means I don't have the empathy to support them all while they are "working for amnesty?"
Don't know if that makes me less of a person or what, but I am usually a sucker for a sob story..and so compassionate it gets me in trouble sometimes...but, not today.
I just wonder what the Justice department is waiting for...wasn't there an investigation on him and his brother or something, regarding contracts???
That's better.
Thanks Sleuth! I needed that. Check your FReepmail in a couple minutes.
ref #637 great catch.....
