you can be sure that if a Senior Administration Official told the Old Media about this than it was a leak that was Authorized by GWB.Well, first, your statement assumes that there was, actually a "leak" from a "senior administration official" and that a reporter was not making up "anonymous sources" out of thin air. Second you assume that the characterization of the leaker as a "senior administration official" is accurate and that it doesn't refer to some Clinton holdover.
Otherwise I agree with your statement.

Yeah I follow you but to me crossing the border illegally is different from speeding and the penalties should be different. Right now you can go to jail for speeding and get a hefty fine. Cross the border illegally and all that happens is the us govt. throws money at you as fast as they can. It's reevaluation time.

if I were in Walter Reed, or had a family member in Walter Reed, I wouldn't let that sludge anywhere near us. I will start here, in order to calm down a bit more.
Sleuth, I hear you and know exactly what you are saying. From what our guys tell me, they can not refuse to see members of CONgress and they can not be rude etc.
Our troops are not stupid, they call the parading of the critters what it is.....a political stunt using them to promote their agenda. Of course, they give exception to some, but I will not name names. ;*)
Now, the video.....I only watched a tiny bit of it and stopped it before my head exploded. So now, according to him, not only did our troops murder in cold blood, but there was a giant cover-up. Words escape me.

I know that Mark Levin was speaking none too kindly about Tony that night.. Thats' true but I bet you Tony will still come on his show,. It's one thing to get upset with an "amigo", it's still another to pour a bucket of oil on him.

#587, ask someone with Family members to observe Murtha a number of times, and they can pick out the little quirks that are unique to this disorder. One of the saddest things to watch is how they go off on tangents, and cannot be talked into being realistic, even when they look very foolish because they do not realize that their behavior is foolish. They think they are right and even when you show them they are wrong they will look at you like they hate you and will tell you that you are wrong. They become impossible to deal with, and it is very painful for a loved one. They can really fool even Doctors at the beginning, but soon everyone can see it.

That is what will happen to many industries if we require higher wages for Mexicans. So, we need to have our own third world labor force working off the books and at sub minimum wages in order to "keep the jobs here?" That's silly. What difference does it make if we're paying 50 cents an hour to Mexicans living in Los Angeles or in Chihuahua? The jobs aren't going to American citizens.

The fairness doctrine is one of Rush's biggest fears. His theory is to keep air amerika alive so they can't make a case for the fairness doctrine, he might have something there.

#590, Well since all these Newspapers are cutting their reporters out of their jobs for budget reasons, perhaps they just figured they already had a great Obit and did not want to spend another dime assigning someone else.

to me crossing the border illegally is different from speeding and the penalties should be different. You might be able to detect that I am conflicted on this question... <g>
I fully agree that we have to take back control of our borders and stricly enforce our immigration laws. At the same time I have a sneaking admiration for folks who have "fought their way through" and made it here, particularly those who really want to become Americans and who are doing more than just searching for a job... any job, even though I have sympathy for those folks too.
I divide illegal immigrants into three camps: those who are here only because they want a job; those who are here because they want to "take back what is theirs;" and those who are here because they get it and want to be part of this great experiment. I want to send the first group back to where they came from, but do all that we can to help them realize their desires in their own homes, put the second group in jail for a very long time then send them back where they came from and then welcome and embrace the third group because they are the same folks that built this county, no matter where we came from.

ref #615, that is a shame that Evan is such a wimp he will never have the guts to disagree on anything with Kennedy. He sure sounds like Democrat Presidential Material.

Rodguy, I would NOT trust you within one hundred miles of my credit card........
(Besides, I'll bet you're just trying to hide your proclivities from your wife and daughter. I bet you'd be lurking at the Nude Republican Women website.)

ref #617 Amen to everything you said. Who knows if they talk in private. I am wondering if Tony gets paid to be on Lou Dobbs show or on Talk Radio, it would be nice if he could make a little money to make up for what he lost taking the Civil Service job.

I hope we stick together. We certainly should. We need to remember that being in a big tent is better than being outside.
By the way, the Memorial Day concert is on PBS stations now. They just showed a shot of the whole Mall. DC really is a fantastic city for pomp and circumstance.
