If Kerry wishes to continue to support his "history of lies".....the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth will have a LOT more money this go around ---- since MANY of us will NOT contribute to the GOP if the Immigration Amnesty and some other insane bills go through....
ALL my contribution budget will go to the Swift Boat Veterans..

Actually, he didn't sign a Form 180 releasing ALL his records to all interested parties, only a limited subset to a few pro-Kerry writers.

So Kerry show the NY Times the entry in a log he kept from 1969: "Feb 12: 0800 run to Cambodia."
Then Kerry show a photographs: his boat leaving the base at Ha Tien, Vietnam;
Then Kerry show "the hat" "I have the hat."
But Kerry does not and will not show anyone his un-expunge discharge papers as release direct from Pentagon records.
Does the NY Times ask why?...
The brilliant investigative reporter of the NY Times accepts every thing Kerry willing, no wants, to show them.
But the NY Times never ever ask for or even question things Kerry doesn't want to show them....
Man o Man! that just some of the damm finest investigative reporting there I've ever seen!

The timing of this attempted confrontation is telling, trying to get it out and over with early. Clearly, he still doesn't understand the scope of his opposition.

"His supporters are compiling a dossier that they say will expose every one of the Swift boat group's charges as a lie and put to rest any question about Mr. Kerry's valor in combat. While it would be easy to see this as part of Mr. Kerry's exploration of another presidential run,
his friends say the Swift boat charges struck at an experience so central to his identity that he would want to correct the record even if he were retiring from public life." That is probably true. He has been basking in this phony story as a war hero who figured out how to bug out in less than five months from Vietnam. He has used his war hero status to get elected again and again. Who else would have a personalized license plate, PH3? His entire identity has been blasted to pieces along with his legacy. It is similar to Clinton's impeachment.
I notice that the NYT story never mentions that Mr. Schachte was an Admiral. The whole story is so biased against the SBVFT. The only thing missing are the facts to refute the SBVFT charges. Also, it is Kerry who is suing the swiftees.

How many times can you call someone a liar without ending up in court, where records can be subpoenaed? This is why john kerry will never sue the Swiftboat Vets. All his records would have to be made available to the defense, and his career would be ended in disgrace. No, the coward kerry will attempt to try this in the friendly press.

This nut case is going to run again. He doesn't stand a chance with Chris Dodd throwing his hat into the right! (Can you believe it?????)

Giving out hats is common. We have a PA State Police--Trooper hat given to my husband years ago by a dive budy. Means nothing, but if you leave it on the dashboard where it is visible from the window, people will leave the car alone, even w/a "W--still the President" sticker.
He has worn it and certain teen age thug types then settle down in his presence.

I guess if Kerry wants to run again, the Swift boat heroes will give him plenty of free media exposer. Go Swift boaters!

Is Kerry still married to Mrs. Heinz?Reputedly. And she IS Mrs. Heinz again. Dropped the "Kerry" designation like a hot potato.

In my opinion, support for Kerry from the NY Times is great news. Kerry is a very weak candidate, and the people at the Times know it. If they're supporting him nevertheless, it shows they have no better alternatives.
