Jim Bostick was under the microscope for taking money from a dead U.S. Marine.
Bostick was not only the mayor, but operates a funeral home in Fort Lupton.
The personal savings account of Marine Jason Sepulveda was sent to Bostick for Sepulveda's funeral after he was killed in an accident.
The U.S. government paid for the Marine's funeral, yet Bostick refused to return the dead Marine's personal savings to his family.
Bostick even ignored a court judgment that totaled more than $7,500.
Citing health issues and media attention...
Threats against his life, and pressure from constituents, caused him so much stress

Jim Bostick resigned, but still will not give back the money.
Total scum!
He said his doctor told him to continue as mayor could kill him.
Still work to be done putting pressure on this turd
However, Bostick said he doesn't have the money to pay back the Sepulvedas and has not paid them yet.
So he doesn`t have the money to pay back the family? He had no intention of doing so, even after court action.
The scumbag should be criminally prosecuted for theft, fraud, and whatever else sticks.
Bostick will lose that much in lost business in his two funerals homes.
Plus his legal bills should be going up.
Time for his dirt nap.
Nah!!!! Just 15 stripes from the Cat-O-Nine, well laid across his bare backside.
And the first against the wall is...
It ain't going to be the stress of performing his mayoral duties that kills him. It'll be the beatings administered by this fallen Marines buddies that'll do that.

"Sounds like time for a blanket party."
How can a mayor not have $7500? That's a hefty check, but not a large fortune.
Time for another email.
No, what he needs is a visit by somebody with a few Louisvilles sluggers to practice on his knees, and femurs and elbows. That is the only thing scum suckers like that pay attention to.
Is it possible to take any of his possessions in lieu of cash owing to the judgment against him?
Fort Lupton is a po-dunk town...anyone walking around with $500 in their pocket...is doing real good. I'm guessing this guy screwed an awful lot of folks over in his life....this marine isn't the first one. There is probably a great story to tell here about the guy and how he got to be mayor as well.
He recently declared bankruptcy and some think that he may have already put his assets ( home, businesses, cash, cars, etc. ) into someone else's name.
However, that profession has been riddled with greedy, crooked individuals who take advantage of the grieving survivors.
A very special place awaits them.
