We need to start the recall process on the Senators that are not up for re-election that voted for this bill. Does anybody know the steps needed to get a recall vote listed on a state ballot for November? I would especially like to target Specter (PA) (for sponsoring the bill.

I don't think any states have provisions for recalling federal officials.

Something sure has to be done. Our own senators are selling out this country - they are either corrupt, traitors, and/or psychotic. No other explanation for their acts. I just hope the House won't compromise but outright reject it.

It is a state by state issue. There is no process to do anything nationally. I wish there was. Organize locally IF your state has any such process.
I do believe the have violated their oath of office to uphold the US Constitution though.

Where can we get a list of how all of the Senators voted. I want to check and see how my two Senators voted. Based on the week letters I received in response to my letter of concern my guess is they both voted for it and if they did I will do everything in my power to see that they are not reelected when they are up for reelection.

Both my Texas Senators voted against the bill. They were enlightened ahead of time by a very angry base here in Texas. However, I will contribute as much time as needed to this cause. It is our America and we still make the final decisions.

I'll keep my two Senators thanks. Cornyn and Hutchinson both voted against it. They know the score. Texas may well go bankrupt should Fox/Jorge/Kennedy/McCain get their way.

Woah... hold up...
Heard this morning that both Cornyn and Hutchinson both voted against yesterdays Senate bill. That list has her voting in favor.
Did KLBJ get it wrong?
