When I was 17 and a junior in HS I was 6 foot tall and weighed 175 lbs. Plenty of other kids who were bigger than me. It's one thing when you are talking young teenagers but these kids didn't stop when the spray was administered so that tells me that they were likely not small kids and that they were really going at it.

At least the cop had the sense to use esclating force on them... First Pepperspray, then the TAZER. If that did not work, then firearms would have been used.

The person who ZAPPED them was the same person who claimed pepper didn't work. Go figure.

With the proliferation of weapons in school, should the so called pu$$y have to take a knife in the ribs?
Would that make him a man in your eyes?
Any cop will tell you that you don't get in the middle of two people duking it out. You order them to stop then use escalating amounts of force to pacify the situation.

You must have gone to Ulitmate Fighting Championship High. Was Hoyce Gracie your classmate by any chance?

...not one time out of 100 did the principle ever need to use pepper spray... Wouldn't it be nice if it were the 70-80's again, and kids actually respected not only their parents - other kids parents - and hey! the principal too.
If my kid cam to me and said he didn't stop fighting after multiple warnings AND PEPPER SPRAY, but finally the Tazer took him down, I'd ask him what he might have learned...

Maybe we could just outfit every newborn with a Taser before they leave the birthplace.
Then, if they start to cause trouble, or experience impure thoughts, it could be activated from afar, and LEO's could just pick 'em up like a piece of cordwood.

you don't get in the middle of two people duking it out Unless, of course, you want to turn the situation into two people duking it out with a third person.

When I graduated from HS I only weighed 155 lbs. My 14 yr old freshman son is 6'2", 240 lbs, and wears a size 15 shoe - a record for the school's Jr ROTC.
But then, he has been taught respect for authority and still has a healthy fear of his old man too. He knows the pepper spray and tazer would just be the beginning of his punishment.
