TASER Gun Used To Break Up High School Fight

Security Director First Sprayed Pepper Spray
DES MOINES, Wash. -- A police officer used a TASER gun on a student to break up a fight between two juniors at Mount Rainier High School in Des Moines Thursday. The Highline School District's director of security was in the high school when the fight broke out in the school cafeteria at 7:30 a.m.
The first time the two students fighting ignored the security director's orders to stop fighting, he sprayed them with pepper spray. When that didn't stop the fight, the school's resource officer took out a TASER gun and jolted one of the boys on the back of his shoulder.
Neither student required hospitalization.
Both of the students involved in the fight have been suspended from school. Many students witnessed the incident.

Tazers are single shot/multiple shock weapons. In other words, once the payload has hit the target, you can then zap them multiple times. However, you cannot then switch targets without reloading the Tazer module, which can take several minutes.

Pepper spray didn't stop them? She accidentally used peppermint spray, which did not stop them, but at least made the close quarter arguing more pleasant to the olfactory system....

You know back when I was in school in the 70s and 80s i was involved in a few fights and witnessed probably over 100 and not one time out of 100 did the principle(we didn't have cops in school at that time.) Ever need to use pepper spray or a taser to break up a school fight. But now that we got cops with cool new toys they have devolved into wimpy cretins that have to ask nice first then go to pepper spray and tazers to break up two high schoolers fighting. The really bad part of it is this rambo wanna be that is to pu**y to get in between them to stop them from fighting is probably right now bragging to his multiple boyfriends about what a rough tough and mighty gruff hombre he is for spraying and zapping two kids.

Pepper spray didn't stop them?This is Washington State. You are required to fire three shots into the air and then you can use the taser. :)
