Thanks for that beautiful visual!
Are they going to keep them locked up until then? (I hope.)
Probably a pinkish-gray caulk. The subdivision has strict deed restrictions regarding signs... ;-)
I agree, this has or had potential to touch folks on both sides of the aisle were political sniping to ensue as a result of jury verdicts.
Hey....I'll be HOME on vacation then. Cool! I can watch it live on a local Houston TV station. W'hoooo!

"Ken is going to be put on the LAY away plan"
Well said
Doesn't matter how many feet high they reach on the DisneyWorld ride-admittance charts, they are *small people.*
Om = I'm
Personally speaking, I'd be happy if Lay got a cellmate named Tyrone and was put in general polulation for a couple decades or three.
That works for me on all levels.
Skillings' lawyer is the one who won the civil case against O.J.
Talk about taking a huge step downward.
No, they'll be out on their current bond, most likely.
Yep - Skilling just walked away with Petrocelli.
I know - I liked him so much until all this.
Unbelievable, Petrocelli and Skilling just came out for a press conference! Skilling was very humbled and looked like he's resigned himself to the verdict. He even thanked the media for being "so polite". Silling still has a $5 million cash bond.
Just heard the judge ordered Ken Lay to surrender his passport. Haven't seen him come out yet. Wonder how long they'll get before appeals to run their course and when sentencing will happen?
Bingo. I found a good link on Clinton/Enron.

Oh, my - Kenlay's children are now there in the courthouse to sign over all their houses for the $5 million bond. Guess they have *new* bail to make.
As far as sentencing, I don't know if they'll have the whole mini-trial with this same jury (don't think so - Judge Lake just dismissed them - sounded final - said they can talk) or if the judge will handle the sentencing.
It may just be the judge, because one of the legal consultants said, even before the verdicts were announced, that "this judge is likely to give very long sentences" due to the largest monetary loss ever involved in trial history - that guy thought it would be 20 years for KennyBoy and 25 for Skilling.
Perhaps this also shows the arrogance of this group of critters.
I'm not sure they can appeal until they're sentenced. Maybe someone else knows.
Tyrone, AKA "The Bull" (old SNL ref)
