Oh yes. Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, those diabolical geniuses are agreeing with the president to tick off the conservative base. Those wascally wascals. You Bots are defending the indefensible, but you are becoming darn funny doing it.

Can we start some "Jimmy Carter is gay" rumour to try to shut this guy up?

""Former president Carter, a Democrat and frequent critic of President Bush, sees eye-to-eye with him on immigration."
Don't forget that Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton are siding with Bush on this plan.

I agree. It's a drive by media moment...they did it a few days ago with Clinton, and it had the same effect around here.

Did you like it? I did it all by myself. It didn't take very long, either.
Anyway, thanks for chiming in on the thread with your brilliant insights. I know we're all much better off. Why if you hadn't happened along when you did who knows what might have happened.
We could have gone on thinking that it was just Old Jimmah spouting off exactly as he has done since he slunk out of office. If it weren't for you we'd all have gone on thinking that he's just as big a moron today as he was in 1982.
But thanks to your keen insight and razor like analysis we now know that the man who couldn't figure out the laws of supply and demand, who thought the Ayatollah was 'godly', who championed Daniel Ortega, and who told us Hugo Chavez ran a clean election is actually a political operator on par with Karl Rove and Lee Atwater.
I don't know how we'll ever thank you enough....
