Folks, might want to have a look at this blog entry. Looks like Murtha was at it again last night. This time he talks about how World War II veterans were guilty of slaughtering civilians. Murtha has gone completely over the edge. Criticizing the Iraq war is one thing, there are a lot of people opposed to it, but criticizing World War II veterans is something else entirely. I am not sure this is going to sit well with voters in the district and should only help Diana Irey's prospects.

There is no doubt that civilians died in U.S. bombing raids during World War II. But Congressman Murtha slanders the thousands of aircrew members who gave their lives in an effort to destroy enemy targets and minimize civilian casualties.
