ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) -- Denver Broncos quarterback Jake Plummer on Wednesday said he did cut someone off while driving last month, but denied kicking and then backing up into another motorist's vehicle in a road rage incident.

It always amazes me that people find chatting on the phone more important than piloting a multi ton projectile safely down a public road.
Thanks for the ping.
I still miss Elway.
Now that "24" is over, I will not get excited about any TV until Bronco Football is back on.
Yeah, I enjoyed that place too, probably for the same reasons.
"I have never seen a city anywhere be so supportive of a team."
The Denver metro area will support any team here that is at least attempting to become a better team. I'm not sure about soccer though.
Yes, darn it anyway. Jack is on his way to CHINA with those eViL terrorists. lol They are going to be sorry!! Just wait until he gets his second wind.
John Elway is one of my all time favs as well along with Joe Montana.
I love my broncos too (I've got family all over the Denver area) and Jake is a great guy! But something like driving needs FULL attention, no matter how great a multi-tasker one is. What can be so impotant that someone can't stay off the phone while driving? It's rude and dangerous. In fact, if I know someone is driving while talking to me, I'll hang up on them.
no kidding. And the skullcap. Dude needs to be drop kicked to Pakistan.
Well, at least Jack will finally get some rest on that slow boat to China. Poor guy has not slept since January.
Whodda thought a guy making that kind of money would drive a Honda Element??
This is plummer's last year in a Bronco's jersey.
Buh-bye Jake the Snake. Welcome to the second string next year.
That stretch of road goes from 3 to 2 lanes. It can be pretty slow during rush.
He might have meant Jefferson Bypass and Downing Street. Hampton at Downing is a two-way two lane city street
Pro golfers are upstanding citizens, by and large. I'm just saying...
Technically, you are correct, but everyone calls the main road "Hampden" anyway. Nobody calls it "Jefferson." So, I'm sure Plummer was on the main road.
And it's "Hampden" not Hampton.
Golf is a sport???? :) My brother is a golfer. I accuse him of simply wanting to get out of work by driving around in that cart chasing that little white ball into the woods and creeks.
Neither story here completely adds up. Why is Stone so busy watching what is going on behind him instead of in front of him to notice somebody cutting off drivers *behind* him three separate times?
Plummer says he checked to see if there was any damage but he returned to the car when he saw there was none. And yet the reports says there is clearly damage.
Plummer says he phoned 911. Why would you do that if there's no damage and why is he fleeing the scene of an accident if he is concerned enough about it to report it? He's supposedly late for a charity event but, if you or I ever used that as an excuse for leaving the scene of an accident, we'd get no sympathy from a judge.
If Plummer kicked Stone's car, why wouldn't there be damage to his car consistent with that? And if Stone didn't rear-end the vehicle but Plummer backed into him, I'd expect the damage to be somewhat minimal since there would be only a short distance for momentum to build between the two vehicles at a stop light. It wouldn't be the same damage as if Stone hit Plummer with all the momentum of a vehicle decelerating.
On a side note, yes, Honda Elements are ugly but at least Plummer has the smarts not to take a *good* vehicle out on those streets like a Porsche.
Secondly, it's a good thing Plummer doesn't drive like he throws or his vehicle would be veering into oncoming traffic.
