16. If the election for United States Senate were held today and the candidates were Maria Cantwell, the Democrat or Mike McGavick, the Republican, whom would you vote for?
Maria Cantwell 47%
Mike McGavick 42%
Undecided 11%
And didn't King County just go to all vote by mail?
Yah, he's doing great.
Make no mistake, the odds are still on Cantwell's side, but at least this will be a race and McGavick could pull it off.
Cantwell only got 1 term in the house before she was defeated, I say she only gets 1 term in the Senate as well.
Gorton -probably- lost. It was by 2200, not 129. But yes, all the crap that was turned up in 2004 kinda made you have to wonder.
I'm not sure that really matters. The only people that affects vote 80%+ D anyway.
I think is what's really hurting Cantwell is that the anti-war crowd is HUGE in Seattle and a lot of them are threatening to sit on their hands in November and they just might do it. Lately, R's havent had to make any noise at Cantwell events, the far left has been doing it for us.
And Christine's good friend, Vincente Fox will be in Washington State to influence his troops (invaders) to vote Democrat forever and ever and ever and ever.....
She and Oregon governor, Colonoscopy, er Kulengosky, or whatever his name is, will be Fox's generals for the New World Order's Regional government.
LOL! I commented to my husband about his voice and I said I sure hope he doesn't have a wet fish handshake like Slade Gorton had when I shook his hand.
...I'd say "hey, I thought it was supposed to be the first Tuesday in November!"
Time for Washington liberal political tricks.
huh? A five point lead is a five point lead. Plus all draws in Washington go to the Democrats, as proved in the Governor's race.

The best way to begin that process is to elect Mike McGavick.
I suspect a certain # of those $$$ are headed to the viaduct/tunnel.
Looks like about time for the LP to crawl from back under their rock and throw the race again.
Does King County have anything besides Seattle that can at least narrow the gap so the Republican doesn't get totally killed, like some swing suburbs? I think Gorton actually won King County in 1980, but of course that was a long time ago.
King County hadn't gone fully to the dark side yet in 1980, but it's all gone now... sadly. :-(
Game's rigged. We can't win here.
Last time around they were successful in handing the Gubernatorial election to the Democrats...against a solidly Christian, family man who ran on the GOP ticket.
The good old WA LP...meet our demands or we'll spoil it for everyone.
Probably helped Rossi.
What hurt Rossi is, in Washington, whoever counts last, wins. And King County counts last.
