Why single out Canada?

Italy's fertility rate (number of children per woman: 2.0 is the rate required to maintain the population) is only 1.28.

Germany's (his home country) is 1.31.

While Canada's is 1.61.

Don't worry. He'll get around to those countries too, if he hasn't already. He's had plenty to say about Europe's abandonment of its Christian heritage.

Because it's embarrassing to admit that Roman Catholic Italy has one of the lowest birthrates in Europe?

Oh, he's not singling out Canada. He's been disturbing people all over with his "preferential option for the child."

Why single out Canada?

Because the Canadian bishops were in Rome for their ad limina visit.

"Why single out Canada?"

The Bishops of Canada as a group were visiting Rome. The bishops of a country will visit the Pope every few years for a kind of little pep talk. It is called an ad limina visit. The US bishops probably go next year. That talk should be very interesting.

1.61 is still way too low. We need it around 2.50.

V. Putin is literally begging and bribing the women of his country to bear more children.

Women bear children who are the life in this world.
Feminism is destroying that basic truth.
Feminism's attendant minions, socialism and homosexuality, will take care of the will of the men, as we see by the shocking drop in men enrolled in college and more men who accept the nature of homosexuality and bisexuality as normal and healthy.

There were two small articles put up here in the last week.
One dealt with the breakthrough of Japanese researchers to make a life from exclusively female DNA, albeit in lab mice.
Lab mice are pioneering the way for the obsolescence of males altogether. The second article was about young girls and women who use birth control pills to bypass their monthly courses. Too much bother seems to be the only reason for this trend. One 17 yr. old was quoted as saying that she had been doing this since she was 14 yrs. old. And proud of it. This is profoundly sad, IMHO. The black irony here is that the girl probably is one of those Kool Aid vegans.
Won't eat a piece of meat or touch a dairy product unless it is all natural, and yet, ingests synthetic chemicals to alter her own natural biology.

Feminism is the root cause of the decline of all Western civilizations.

Why single out Canada?

The Canadian bishops are making their ad Limina visit to the Vatican this week. The pope was addressing them on the state of their country.

Why single out Canada?

He's not. He's hit all the other countries you mentioned. Guess you weren't paying attention.

The fact is, Canada has the same illness that the others do, even if it's not in as advanced a stage. Better to nip it in the bud now, than to wait, don't you think?

It's more like 2.3, I believe.

Russia's is around 1.2, Serious enough that Russia, by then having lost all of its Far East, will be effectively be but the content of history's dustbin within around 50 years.

Same reason he might "single out you" if it was you he was talking to, about you.
