Hydro, more potent than regular grass: False
Ah hell I was gonna go thru the article and list all the lies but the entire article is a piece of fiction.
To: Alouette
If in regular grass the active ingredient is 13 percent, in Hydro it is five or six times more, senior police official Yaron Ahrak said: False

The drugs effects are lethal: False
To: Alouette
The drug is distributed mostly among the affluent, who can afford it. The drugs effects are lethal. All we need now is that the youth will get a hold of it.
I'm confused. Does he mean cumulatively? Hallucinogens aren't in and of themselves lethal. I must be missing something here...

My guess is your electric company will notice if you plug a dozen 1000 watt metal halide light fixtures 24 hours a day.

Sorry to see such ignorant alarmism in Israel. If regular marijuana is 13%, they claim hydro would be 60%. Of What? It can't be weight of dried plant material, since that is mostly cellulose. Hashish is concentrated marijuana resin, and it has been available all over the Middle East for many centuries. As an extract, hashish is going to be stronger than any dried plant, hydroponic or not. Yet there are not confirmed deaths that I know of from overdose with any marijuana derived product (I mean direct death by overdose, not from an auto accident after smoking).

Attorney Revital Svid said the courts cannot differentiate between Hydro and regular grass users, because Hydro is a type of marijuana.Silly courts.. it is called branding. Marketing 101. sheez

Please explain to me how Israeli kids get to use pot. I thought all Israelis young men and women have to serve in the Army. Doesn't the IDF screen for drug use?

Hydroponic is all about quality control and is just like a Catholic grade school - you have to keep the females separated from the males.

Exaggerations and lies like those in this article probably make more people use drugs than if they had kept silent on an issue they really dont seem to know about.

Jeez, what a pack of bullshit. Do journalists do journalism anymore?

They lie, and their lies are uncontested by the press. Just like the "white lies" anti-smoking crap that's on tv.
No pot is lethal.

Hydro goes for about NIS 500 (USD 110) per 10 grams (0.35 ounces), compared with regular marijuana which is sold for NIS 600 (USD 133) per kilo. Numbers must be wrong. Hydro seems to be selling for $110,000 a kilo, while regular is selling for $133 for a kilo.
What are they teaching journalists?

The drugs effects are lethal. Right.
Everyone who smokes it will eventually die.
Just like everyone who drinks water will eventually die.
