I think we ought to merge "Gay Days" and the Day of Silence with Muslim Day, The Religion of Peace, creating a multicultural nirvana. Of course no infidel religions are allowed to partake in the festivities.

Last year the Massachusetts Legislature stunned parents and citizens by raising the funding for homosexual programs in the public schools by 70% -- from $250,000 to $425,000 (and overwhelmingly passing it over the Governor's veto).

What a waste of money. The next time these losers ask for more money for education, I would say, "You obviously have more money than you know what to do with if you can find $425k to spend on "homosexual programs" when gays/lesbians make up less than 5% of the population."

Even the "Republican" people I know in Mass are "moderate." Recently, one of our friends complained that a certain candidate was "too conservative."

When I asked him for a definition of too conservative, he stammered and tried to explain that the candidate was one of those "pro-life hardline conservatives."

This coming from the "most conservative" of our friends up there. I am convinced there's something in their water!

A $350K hunk of that is supposed to go to the "governor's commission." Mitt is the governor, why can't he call off the "governor's commission."

Massachusetts is the state where they teach "fisting" to elementary schoolers.
The place is a hopeless toilet - - if you are there, get out as fast as you can.
Run, don't walk.

Democrats, please stay.

These are quite dramatic figures.
Do these allocations of funds for homosexual promotion come with some sort of explaination?
Surely, for something so radically different from the norm, some sort of paper explaining while they feel it's important to promote homosexual perversions over any other sort of sexual perversion should be explained to those who pay for it?

Mass. Legislature to quadruple funds for gay programs in schools

Funding to promote the homosexual disorder among innocent children is a good idea say the leftists. The moral relative argument is made in juxtaposing supposed significant rates of death and or pain against the alternate -the rainbow facade of propaganda that is window dressing as regards to the homosexual disorder.

Yes we must protect our children from the rampant homophobia induced bullying, hate crimes, and suicides by encouraging acceptance of disordered sexual activity among minors AND teaching clearly that the most prized yet procreatively barren sexual activity (after all, penguins that wish to go extinct do it) is not really self destructive and unhealthy. Makes sense to me...

Exposed: Homosexual Urban Legend: 30% Of Teen Suicide Victims Are Homosexuals

EXCERPT:
Homosexual activists have repeatedly claimed for more than ten years that 30% of all teens who have attempted suicide are homosexuals. The mythological 30% figure was concocted by a homosexual social worker named Paul Gibson who wrote "Gay Male and Lesbian Youth Suicide," published in 1989. It has been thoroughly debunked, but homosexuals continue to use the figure because it supports their political and social agenda. This 30% myth has been used over and over again to convince public school officials to establish pro-homosexual counseling programs, special clubs for homosexuals run by Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) teenagers, and sensitivity/anti-homophobia training sessions to convince straight students that homosexual behavior is normal. The latest studies that expose the 30% urban legend appear in the December, 2001 issue of Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology. The author of these studies is Cornell University psychologist Ritch Savin-Williams.

Exposed: The fraudulent claim that homosexuals are victimized by an epidemic of hate crimes.

EXCERPT:
This Homosexual Urban Legend is used by homosexuals to lobby for state and federal hate crime laws that provide enhanced penalties for crimes committed against homosexuals. These laws, in effect, make heterosexuals second class citizens under the law because they are not a protected class. A person who assaults a homosexual will receive a stiffer penalty than a person who assaults a heterosexual for the same crime. FBI statistics show that there are actually very few "hate crimes" committed against homosexuals in the United States. Yet homosexuals claim they need federal legislation passed to protect them from what they maintain is an epidemic of hate against them.
