Even the "Republican" people I know in Mass are "moderate." Recently, one of our friends complained that a certain candidate was "too conservative."

When I asked him for a definition of too conservative, he stammered and tried to explain that the candidate was one of those "pro-life hardline conservatives."

This coming from the "most conservative" of our friends up there. I am convinced there's something in their water!

Maybe some of that toxic waste Dukakis complained about. Let's just hope it makes the liberals infertile, too.
