So, illegals can just get a phony ID. They certainly don't have to worry about any consequences if they were caught. After all, the Senate wants to allow them to collect SS even if they used phony instruments.

I am surprised post 9/11 that you would not have to have a passport to go from America to Canada and vice versa.

Why go throuh all the hassle of getting a passport just to cross the Mexican border to have dinner? I wouldn't do that now with all the drug smuggler related violence along the Texas-Mexican border, but it used to be pretty common for people go across the border for just a few hours and come back.

What has that got to do with Canada? Regardless of whether it is Canada, Mexico or whatever I would have thought post 9/11 you would need a passport that was my point.
