That's the kiss of death for the Bush Amnesty Plan.

...."You don't want a system that can be flouted so much that you actually punish law-abiding would-be immigrants who file for immigration in a legal fashion and patiently wait," he said.....
Uh thats exactly what is proposed...

I like 80% of what President Bush has done.
That being said, this amnesty plan is a disaster for the country. I will work very hard to see that this monstrosity from the Senate dies a slow, painful death in the House.
Seal the borders. Deport lawbreakers. Fine and jail felonious employers. Jail those who smuggle human beings.

Former President Bill Clinton on Sunday said President Bush is doing a good job on immigration reform, praising his call for better border security and moderation in dealing with illegal immigrants.Well, then...

I'm against it!

Yes, please keep it civil. Has anyone noticed all the news articles about Clinton speaking at some graduation ceremony or some organization and the reporting on it is basically a Clinton commercial. His comments always are basically full of lies and the MSM just reports its verbatim as if everything he said is true. I guess by now I shouldn't be surprised but it still makes me so mad.

No, Mr Clinton, they don't "chase their dreams in the same manner that I chase mine." First of all their dreams are based in avarice and envy. They break the law getting here and continue to break the law while here, and most offensive--they are damn rude about it. Their is no moral equivalency between crimaliens and the average American, despite your lame attempt at co-opting the language.

I wonder what the die-hard 'President Bush is always right and anyone who says otherwise is EVIL' crowd will say regarding this...

I like 80% of what President Bush has done. Just out of curiosity, what do you consider that "he's done" outside the War on Terror, which was prompted by 9/11, not some independent brainchild, tax cuts, and Roberts and Alito (who would have been Miers had Bush gotten his way)?

"I basically think President Bush has done a good job with this," Clinton told a convention of shopping center developers. "I'm different with him on nearly everything, but I think he's done a good job with this." More support for the 2006 Massive-Increase-in-Democratic-Voters Act.

Well, yeah, I agree that it would have been easier for the GOP if the Clenis had not come out in favor right now.
To: ncountylee
Hillary has no choice now. I believe she has voted against everything up to now. She wanted complete amnesty and absolutely nothing less.
