One thing is for sure, the liberals can’t say this was government endorsed. I applaud these young men and women for standing up for their rights, and setting the example for others. The ACLU filed suit on behalf of one student who felt offended that a prayer would be included in their graduation ceremony. U.S. District Judge Joseph McKinley granted a temporary restraining order sought by a student. Here is how the students responded to the attempts to censor them.
The senior class at a southern Kentucky high school gave their response Friday night to a federal judge’s order banning prayer at commencement.
About 200 seniors stood during the principal’s opening remarks and began reciting the Lord’s Prayer, prompting a standing ovation from a standing-room only crowd at the Russell County High School gymnasium.
The thunderous applause drowned out the last part of the prayer.

Yep, Athiests, Communists and Lunatics United. Unfortunately, many of them have no idea for whom they work.
I believe they way these rulings are constructed, it prohibits anyone in an official capacity at the school from leading a prayer. it does not prevent the participants from engaging in it.
what could be done you say, if a principal for example, violated the court oirder? he could be jailed for contempt, and don't put it past one of these judges to do exactly that. there is very little check on judicial power in this country.

No problem. I originally read it in a "Voice of the Martyrs" magazine. I think of it often when I get irritated about percieved slights at the office. It brings me back to reality.

Are these students liable to go to jail or be fined since they defied the court order?
They love to do jihad after prayers especially Friday (their sabbath) prayers.

You respect a religion that calls for the cutting off of your infidel head or being forced to convert at the business end of a sword or gun? Maybe you can become a dhimmi- a second class citizen that is treated worse than dirt. Women in their religion are about as equal as infidels and treated as such.

I want to say that I don't disagree with these young adults, I agree with them, and am proud of them. I just thought of it and wanted to see what you all said.
However, Allah is NOT the God of Abraham. Sorry, God the Father is not the same as the arabic god. You can tell by the actions of their god. He's more like Molech, the child-sacrifice god.
Personally I believe Allah is a real, living, supernatural being, a demonic minion of Satan masquerading as a god. But whoever or whatever "he" is, Allah is definitely NOT YHVH, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Hey, it's you're prayer, to YOUR God.
