I support those students! Good for them, that was one of the best things I think they could have done. That was awesome!

More on the rebel praying students!
To: kjo
Yep, Athiests, Communists and Lunatics United. Unfortunately, many of them have no idea for whom they work.

I believe they way these rulings are constructed, it prohibits anyone in an official capacity at the school from leading a prayer. it does not prevent the participants from engaging in it.
what could be done you say, if a principal for example, violated the court oirder? he could be jailed for contempt, and don't put it past one of these judges to do exactly that. there is very little check on judicial power in this country.
To: Shimmer128
They have every right to do that<what they don't have is the right to keep someone else from exercising their rights. This politically correct Bull$6)t has to be challenged and these idiot judges have to stuff back into their robes.

Love this statement. Mind if I borrow it?

No problem. I originally read it in a "Voice of the Martyrs" magazine. I think of it often when I get irritated about percieved slights at the office. It brings me back to reality.

"I don't mean to be argumentative, but I'm serious-what would we do if say...most of the senior class was muslim? Say, black muslim, that's more likely than mostly arabic. What if they mostly all stood up and prayed to Allah??
Or Gaia?
I'm happy because they honored our God, but what if the majority wanted to honor a false god?
There's a back side to this."
A better question is....What would happen to a Christian in a predominately muslim country who said they were offended because the rest of the class wanted to say a prayer to allah?

Are these students liable to go to jail or be fined since they defied the court order?
To: I still care
They love to do jihad after prayers especially Friday (their sabbath) prayers.
Move over Kris Christian, look out for Johnny Jihad on a rampage near you!

You respect a religion that calls for the cutting off of your infidel head or being forced to convert at the business end of a sword or gun? Maybe you can become a dhimmi- a second class citizen that is treated worse than dirt. Women in their religion are about as equal as infidels and treated as such.

Outstanding. Purely outstanding. The youth can do it.

Suggested High School/College prayer: Heavenly Father Thank you that you have bestowed upon me the opportunity to speak to you in front of these many people. I ask that your blessing would be upon this ceremony to your glory. Bless us now as we go forth into the world that we might seek peace and righteousness, also to your glory.
And strike dead those in black robes that judge the land but can neither hear, see, or understand righteousness.
Amen!

I want to say that I don't disagree with these young adults, I agree with them, and am proud of them. I just thought of it and wanted to see what you all said.
However, Allah is NOT the God of Abraham. Sorry, God the Father is not the same as the arabic god. You can tell by the actions of their god. He's more like Molech, the child-sacrifice god.

He's more like Molech, the child-sacrifice god. Personally I believe Allah is a real, living, supernatural being, a demonic minion of Satan masquerading as a god. But whoever or whatever "he" is, Allah is definitely NOT YHVH, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hey, it's you're prayer, to YOUR God.
Who are we to mess with your freedom of religion. :) Who are we to interrupt a private conversation?
