14 GOP INCUMBENTS DEFEATED IN PRIMARY

Conservatives, nationwide are getting angry about the loss of principle by GOP'ers in office. Big spending in Washington and Sacramento. The inability to control illegal aliens. Failure to protect jobs and the failure to stop the social agenda of liberals in our schools in finally causing conservatives to say NO to GOP incumbents, even if it means we could lose seats in a legislative body. The thought is simple, why protect a Republican running for office if their voting record will differ little from the Democrats.

In Utah, GOP Congressman Chris Cannon could not win his Parties endorsement for re-election--his opponent got more votes in Convention then he did.

In Nebraska, Congressman tom Osborne, and legend in the state, was defeated for the nomination for Governor due to his weak stand on illegal aliens.

In Heardon, Virginia, five incumbent city council members lost re-election due to their creation of a "Day Labor Center" for illegal aliens.

In the California 50th Congressional District Special Election, the Democrat is ahead of the Republican, since the Republican has been portrayed as more liberal than many Democrats--has even supported Democrats in the past.

But, Pennsylvania last Tuesday should have been the two by four to every GOP candidate and office holder in the nation. At least 14 incumbent GOP office holders, including the top two in the State Senate were defeated in a Republican primary, by Republicans. The good news is that if they had not been defeated, many GOP voters would have stayed home in November. This is a lesson for us in California, and the nation, GOP voters have had enough of Republicans acting like Democrats. Our candidates need to stand for GOP principles, then vote and govern that way once in office.

No longer will GOP voters settle for, "well at least they have a "R" after their name." There is a revolt going on in GOP ranks and it is moving across the nation.

Talk to Hispanics and you'll be surprised. I've turned one into a rabid Republican.

They're classic Reagan Democrats - fiscally liberal, socially conservative. Traditional Libs (read: Jews+Blacks) are going to find themselves without a party since Latinos tend to oppose gay rights and other favorite liberal social causes. (The LA Times actually had a detailed article on this very topic last week.)

On the other hand, both private and public sector unions will benefit greatly (it's why we saw the service/gov't unions break from the old-time mfg unions earlier this year). We'll see a run up in spending, higher taxes, and bond packages issued to cover budget shortfalls.

In other words, California for all.

This is why we MUST get behind Dick Mountjoy , who is running for United State Senator in California. HE is a TRUE CONSERVATIVE. Look at his record. See for yourself!!! Help DICK OUT! I know him well. He is my cousin! GO DICK!!!!

"GOP voters have had enough of Republicans acting like Democrats."

Amen to that

Bump. Wish Lindsey Graham were up for re-election.

But he will be--eventually.

If Newt runs in 08, at least there will be some conservative clarity out there. More power to him. Make the others sit up and take note.

There are Republicans we can elect to replace the current batch of RINO's.

So far the Republicans are doing a lousy job on focusing on the issues that will bring them around.

Another thing to consider:

RINO's are perpetual gifts to the Democrats. Think about how much we love it when Zell Miller rips his own party.

The other side has boatloads of Zells. And the Dems appreciate them all.

I would like to see that too although Senators don't do very well in the Presidential arena. Sessions is a man of principle.

Lindsey Graham was just elected. It will be another four years before he has to face the music.

Voted for John Doolittle-R (4th Congressional district). John is a strong, proven conservative. Our ballots went out in the mail last week.

Defeat ALL RINOs.

In Tulsa, the RINO LaFortune, a man that aspired to be the reincarnation of Mayor Bloomberg's brain, managed to not only lose the election but lose it to someone that "alledgedly" committed voter fraud, voting twice in the 2000 election for Al Gore plus she claimed dual citizenship/dual homestead exemption (a criminal offense) in Florida and Oklahoma.

He was that bad. Basic common sense was his enemy. Meanwhile, the new mayor seems to be fearfully treading the fine line between Democrat and DINO in a conservative town--so far. It's a chilling lesson I hope the GOP and RNC take to heart. Conservatives would rather have a DINO than a RINO if it means a continuation of conservative principles!

"I'd vote for them without regad to thier party affiliation."

I can't go along with that sentiment. The Democrats are so completely vile that I could never support one who would even be associated with them.

I'm sure that there are other Zell Miller types out there, but no vote from me ever for anyone with that "D" trailing their name.

I notice that you don't say who you like to support in the primaries.

Do you ever vote anti-incumbent yourself?

"Show me the republican conservatives and I will vote for them."

You can support good candidates thru Club For Growth or other organizations. The party pick can be someone who is less than conservative at times. Be choosy who you support. Club for Growth is supporting RINO Lincoln Chafee's opponent in the primary now. That would be a good start.

Is it me, or am I seeing party operatives say, "Go ahead and vote for your silly conservative in the primary, but when my guy, the established incumbent wins, you better support him in the general!"

I see. Can't answer my reasoning, so why not just go after me personally instead. Hilarious.

Oh my goodness, someone get this one some tinfoil. Who is belittling voting for the best candidate in the primary? I haven't seen a single person argue against that. What's your malfunction?

Lets not skip beyond the primary yet.

The problem I have is with those Republicans that support RINO's in the PRIMARY.

These people are the problem.
