My favorite name is "Mawah." They have cool names in New Jersey... and the straightest toll road on the east coast. It's a nice break in the ride from MA to VA.Like Hohokus, Pequannock, Lake Hopatcong, Tuckahoe...

"No, we think that rules are for midwest tornadoes."

MY NEIGHBORHOOD! Luckily I was at work when this occurred.
Seen plenty of tornados when I lived in South Florida.

See! What did I tell you? It's global warming. We are all doomed. Don't make any long-range plans.

I moved from NY to FL this month and now we have tornadoes in NY? Glad there are no reports of injuries.

Predictions are that the fanatics--the type who go on Da Vinci Code tours of Europe--will cause it to do well at first, and then express train to the tank.

Most tornadoes here move southwest to northeast

They were!
NY Daily News ran one color photo on a full half page today.
They called me last night. (I commend them on their effort- I made none to contact media other than posting here)
Another somewhat famous Freeper from DC may have had a hand in it also. I've thanked him in email.

Great pictures.
I was in NYC last week, no tornadoes then, fortunately.
My first visit....I loved it. So many interesting sights. I hope to go back.
