Update on my mother.
Thank you all for your prayers. God is so good!
Mother sailed through the surgery, and it turned out her fracture was the least problematic of the possible scenarios that the doc said would be on the table until he could actually have a look. Fortunately, she has very strong bones for a woman nearly 94. Taking care of 9 kids and a husband for all those years get her pretty fit, I guess.
I ask that all please continue to pray for her that her rehab is successful and that she is able to walk again.
Again, thanks, everyone, for your caring and compassion. FR prayer warriors are incredible!

I thank all prayer warriors for their many prayers for my almost 94-year-old (on June 22) mother, Marie, who is still in the rehab facility recovering from a fractured hip. We feel your prayers.
Her prognosis is pretty good. She is responding well to rehabilitation and has been able to walk with the aid of a walker. She is up to about 30 feet now!
Please continue to pray for this dear lady.
