Apparently Ms. Hirsi Ali is no longer a Muslim. She's an atheist. If this were true, it would only increase my admiration of her. What evidence do you have to support your claim?

Europe isn't under the heel of Muslims, it's under the heel of self-loathing, white hating, leftists - just as we are. Islamic terrorism and militancy in Europe is just a manifestation of that suicidal self-hatred and exists only with the indulgence of the ruling class. The elite in every country in the West have detached themselves from their people and heritage and rule like colonial masters obsessed with destroying the natives. It's just Europe's bad luck they happen to live close to Muslims. Believing Europe has a Muslim problem is like being in an area occupied by the Ukrainian division of the SS and thinking you have a Ukrainian problem.
