Sensenbrenner is my rep, IMO, this article is leaving out details that spin it positively towards MSM bias. Sensenbrenner is a honest guy, what you see is what you get. He's not the type to pull this stunt.

I trust Sensenbrenner any day over what is coming out of the Whitehouse lately. They WhiteHouse knew that would be a poison pill. (Even though it shouldn't be, it should be a felony to enter this country illegally).

At least we have the House, they seem to be the only ones with any common sense left.

My rep was also on the radio recently and stated something to the effect of the President saying one thing and doing another. His exact words escape me but he could not understand why that happened. It makes you wonder if the House was set up as far as the felony part goes so they, the House, would look extreme and then the President could come in and save the day with the middle ground approach. Okay, I don't like what I am thinking, somebody help me get this notion out of my head.

He is a honorable man. Takes on issues and fights for them because they are right for this country and the common man.

I believe him when he says: "'I was very disappointed in the president's speech," Sensenbrenner said. "I think he doesn't get it."

Asked if Bush mollified conservatives in the speech by calling for sending National Guard troops to states along the Mexican border, Sensenbrenner said, "He failed in that completely.'"

Agreed from what I have seen of him in debate on the floor via CSPAN. We still need to put pressure on the Prez to support the House bill and not any type of Hagel, Martinez, McCain, Kennedy bill as now presented. Enforce first. English only via the Inhoffe bill today and the Kyl amendment. These should be supported by all conservatives.

Does Sensenbrenner have the power to keep a bad bill from being voted on by his committee?
