A FRENCH newspaper was cleared today of inciting religious hatred after it published a cartoon of Christ wearing only a condom.
The appeal court in Paris confirmed a lower court ruling that the image in Liberation newspaper did not "go beyond the accepted limits of freedom of expression".
The cartoon was used to illustrate an article on the use of condoms to fight AIDS in Africa.
The case was brought by a traditionalist Catholic group with links to the far-right National Front (FN).

You can't incite if it it's already a defining characteristic of your society - you can't incite a riot in the middle of a riot - you can only participate. The French newspaper is simply participating in the hatred that is the French enlightenment. (French enlightenment is an oxymoron)
But of course, it iz only permitted to make fun of ze chretiens. One cannot make fun of the musulmans...
If the world were shaped like the humand body, france would be the a**hole.
These people just keep on giving us more and more reasons to despise them.
Not to mention to illustrate that the Muslims don't have a leg to stand on when they try to use French law to stop insulting cartoons of Muhammed from being published. It's weird how the French have these little bitty pockets of common sense tucked away within their overwhelmingly insane political, legal, and economic systems.
When do the riots start? Are we going to have a Holy war? Suicide bombings? Death to (your name here)!!!!!
