If it pisses off Vicente Fox, it's probably the right thing to do.

Polling results must have come in on the Senate GOP and The Presidents position on this issue. And the polls must not have looked very good.

Is there any site on the internet that shows exactly what amendments have been proposed?

"What we have here has become a symbol for the right wing in American politics," countered Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill. If made law, "our relationship with Mexico would come down to a barrier between our two countries."Does Senator Durbin have a fence around his house and yard? Does he have locks on his doors?

Its a start. Amazing what Washington will do when "we the people" get pissed off. Maybe the Minuteman Project will build the rest.

The idea of an instant wall is ridiculous. The Border Patrol knows where the fences will work best to channelize the illegals.

Selling advertising space on the fence would pay for the job a couple of times over.

Hey... I HAVE AN IDEA!!!
Put a toll booth out in the middle of the desert and require them to put a dime in to make the gate open...
That will really screw them up. They will have to send someone back to get a bag of dimes.

I'm all for a 20ft tall, 200,000 volt electric fence followed by a 20 ft wide, 2000 mile long moat of boiling oil.

Polling results must have come in...Maybe. But, since GWB's a man of principle, maybe he'll take this opportunity for his long-awaited first veto.
