"More jobs for Mexicans!"
Just make sure they're on the southern side of the fence when it's complete.

"and 500 miles of vehicle barriers in other areas along the southwest border that DHS determines are areas that are most often used by smugglers and illegal aliens attempting to gain illegal entry, and requires that construction thereof be completed within two years."
Potemkin Village security. A mirage. Just walk around the "barrier".
But "barrier" has such a good, warm, secure feeling to it, no?

500 miles of vehicle barriers wont stop people walking across the border. What good is it?

Does anyone here think that our US "Senate" maybe FINALLY getting the message from voters or is this just a "band-aid"?

The President is not against the fence/wall. I believe he even mentioned it in his speech Monday.
According to the Vice President yesterday on Rush's show:
"It is given serious consideration, not a wall, for example, from ocean to ocean. There are a lot of places out there where it doesn't make sense. There are other places where it does. I'm told -- I'm not an expert in this by any means -- that when you get into built-up urban areas fences -- "security barriers" might be a better word for it -- are in fact an important part of the overall plan and need to be part of it. There are other areas where you've got vast spaces out there where you need other kinds of arrangements"

The Senat is like a high school debating team. No they have not got the message and won't. This is a band aid. They will make a few non essential concessions to get their amnesty passed. No more, no less.

This is the part that's concerning.....
"Summary: Requires DHS to construct at least 370 miles of triple-layered fencing (which may include portions already constructed in San Diego, Tucson and Yuma Sectors)"
How much do we already have constructed, 350 miles?

we should make sure they build it from the southern side of it... No, from the Northern side, until the last few sections...

Three-hundred-seventy mile....... what about the other sixteen-hundred miles? Have to leave big gaps - otherwise it might actually achieve it's purpose. Can't let that happen...
