Here's a paragraph from a longer Washington Prowler feature of The American Spectator:
"What makes Weber's cynical support of the legislation even worse, say Republican Hill staffers, is that his activities also aid MoveOn.org, the extremist, left-wing organization, which is now being financially backed by Google so that MoveOn can help Google with "Net Neutrality." Google has become the single largest private corporate underwriter of MoveOn. According to sources in the Democrat National Committee, MoveOn has received more than $1 million from Google and its lobbyists in Washington to create grassroots support for the Internet regulation legislation. Some of that money has gone to an online petition drive and a letter-writing campaign, but the majority of that money is being used to fund their activities against Republicans out in the states.",/I>
Google's support for MoveOn.org, the multi-million dollar smear and defamation website is the straw that broke my camel's back with Google.
Here are some other issues with Google:
1. They co-operate with the ChiComs to censure the internet in Red China.
2. They don't co-operate with the US Government in tracking down child pornographers in the US.
3. They use terrorists, Hizbollah's Al Manar, as a legitimate news source, while banning Little Green Footballs (which was huge in the Rathergate media scandal) and many other conservative, traditional or libertarian news sources.
4. They are apparently manipulating their search engine results. See this link: Something Is Broken at Google.
5. Now, Google is funding MoveOn.org and bottomless well of smear and defamation.

I don't want to use Google, so I'm asking for help. I want to take Google off my FireFox toolbar. And I want to replace it with a search engine that doesn't support commies, terrorists, defamers, smear websites and other wackjobs.
How can I best do this? Thanks for your help in advance.
I use Altavista. I always have. it's effective.
Go here: http://www.altavista.com
I use Dogpile.

You're probably not going to like this answer, but the easiest solution to your dilemma is to start using IE and install the Yahoo toolbar.
Another option is to install the Yahoo toolbar for Firefox.

I use copernic.

You can use Google (which really is the best search engine) but not click on any google ads. Then they don't make any money but incur the cost of the search.
ROFL, you nitwit.
Dogpile.com
Gross name, good search engine.
Al Gore made a fortune in the Google IPO...
Just uninstalled the Google Toolbar and will not use Google.
Apparently the liberals at Yahoo.com have the same liberal infection:

PRISON!: Yahoo's Dirty Secret, Hidden Behind Net Neutrality
Dear Friend:
You've undoubtedly heard a lot lately about efforts by Moveon.org to regulate the internet, but have you looked at who is behind these efforts?
Yahoo is bankrolling the Network Neutrality Coalition in hopes that you won't learn about their other high-profile activity - helping to lock-up Chinese dissidents. We question what Yahoo and Moveon.org's real definition of "network neutrality" is.
I really understand your sentiments regarding Google. It also doesn't locate everything either.
You can download a FANTASTIC search utility called "WebFerret" for free. Install it on your desktop. You have to be online to use "WebFerret." You can set parameters on "WebFeret" to NOT get articles with foul language or porno. It will automatically search out perhaps 8-10 search engines. Another great feature about "WebFerret" is that you can take your mouse pointer over to the most lefthand part of the results page, and a little window will open, giving a synposis of the web article; therefore, you don't have to open up each and every link on the search results page.
I also rely heavily on "Metacrawler," and "Momma" search engines.
Good luck!
Use Dogpile.
You can use AltaVista if you don't mind getting a gazillion results.
