The worst thing said in the case involving rape charges against Duke University students was not said by either the prosecutor or the defense attorneys, or even by any of the accusers or the accused. It was said by a student at North Carolina Central University, a black institution attended by the stripper who made rape charges against Duke lacrosse players.

According to Newsweek, the young man at NCCU said that he wanted to see the Duke students prosecuted, "whether it happened or not. It would be justice for things that happened in the past."

This is the ugly attitude that is casting a cloud over this whole case. More important, this collective guilt and collective revenge attitude has for years been poisoning race relations in this country.

Ummmmm the US is dominated by libs, in case you haven't noticed they control the education, state dept the entire court system, and it seems the Senate, House and the President. Just because an R is in front of a name, does not make them a conservative.

I hear ya. But I did mean entirely. It's not nearly entirely dominated by libs, although I'll easily agree that the trend in this nation is definitely in that direction. Big time!

Dr. Sowell is right again. This case seems to be so transparent it's hard to believe Nifong is carrying through with it.

Just kidding, although black folks don't realize that they are being passed over by politicians, marketers, etc. for their attention.

If I ever meet Dr. Williams I'm going to ask him to show me the top of his head ... I wanna see where Mrs. Williams gets his attention after some of the remarks he jokes about her. I enjoy his logical approach to issues almost as much as I enjoy the deep, fundamental, and ageless wisdom of Mister Sowell. What this guy said is no different than slave owners or indian murderers back then who said "kill them all" because of something that one person did.
