It's the headline from Drudge Report.

It would be interesting if the entire squadron got shot down during the commute to Iran. ;) You mean sunk. They would be going by boat.
Don't you know that Iran would be adding these aircraft to it's carrier fleet?
To: Lunatic Fringe
Iran already has a bunch of US jets that do not work because when the Shaw of Iran was ousted, I think it was Raytheon that screwed up the programs in the on board computers so they would not fly.

Have they seen the F22 Raptor yet? Makes everything else in the sky look like it's standing still.
And if they keep this up, maybe they'll see them in action first hand.
Lunatics on all continents. Incredible.

Double siren. My question: how do we stop this?

This is just more shock and awe from the wack jobs who keep driving up the price of oil What does the Federal Reserve have to do with this? Any consequences of Federal Reserve actions are purely accidental.

So maybe Pat Robertson was right? We SHOULD have taken out Chavez awhile ago. I hate the idea of post-birth-aborting a sitting dictator, and all, but Chavez is gonna be a major, dangerous pain in our behinds unless he's dealt with...soon.
To: Lunatic Fringe
Well, they should make a nice propaganda tool when the Iranians decide to tow them in a military parade of some sort.

Every time the price of oil drops, Chavez makes an alarming statement to scare analysts and force the price of oil back up.
It never fails.

I am 100% certain that there is a no transfer clause in the contract that Venezuela signed when they purchased them. They risk having them shot down or destroyed on the ground if they try this. This ought to be interesting!!!

All the ones I was associated with were not very committed to an ideal. I think the suicide wing of the radical muslim is more idealistic and not technologically focused. I do know if you called one an Arab he got seriously upset. A significant portion of them were looking for ways to emigrate to the USA. They didn't meet our minimum requirements to join the Air Force as pilots however.

let them sell and we'll shoot them down from the sky or blow them up on the ships. Great target practice for our guys.
Hey Chavez. This Great Empire is not afraid of you, you big sand pellet.

Exactly what I was thinking !
Seriously, any recent weapons system we sell to another country should include backdoors to disable it remotely so it can't be used against us.
These F-16's are so old, they pose little threat, but some newer systems be sold to 'current' friends should definitely include remote disablement buried somewhere in their essential systems.
