Have the folks at "Real, Inc." removed the info-mining part of the player yet?

Try installing RealAlternative which avoids the crap that "Real, Inc." tries to install.

Thanks for the link. I think I'll avoid it on my home boxes and use the the one installed on my company's laptop when I need it.
