"Are you suggesting we have too much prosperity?" - Tony

GOTTA LOVE IT!

There's only one misfiring cylinder at this point, and it's Michigan.

Can't keep up with this; sorry.

? : I agree with the pres you can't deport 12m and also not amnesty . But people waiting years for citizenship are waiting and what is their future.

Tony: Those poeple are ahead in line.

? : This will free up border patrol agents. How many?

Tony: I will get a precize # to you. A thousand people in desk jobs will be moved.

? : Why comment on the USA Today story?

Tony: Because it's inappropriate (the story).

? : Will we see other governors come forward soon to support the president's proposal?

Tony: We've already seen a few come forward to support it.
This is an issue of broad concern and will reach out to many people.

? : What's the strategy going forward on how to bring folks around?

Tony: Members of the house are concerned about border security; the president's proposal gives more assets to border patrol than the House's proposal. The pres knows this is an issue of sufficient concern he will work with people.

?: Pres says ecnoomy firing on all cylinders.

Tony: Are you suggesting we have too much prosperity. Deficits - revenues are coming in that deficits are below estimates. If you want tax revenues coming in, the president wants to make tax cuts permanent because it's good to have people work and the most vigorous ecnoomy on the face of the earth.

?: Did Karl Rove say he'd retire if indicted.

Tony: No comment.

Tony refuses to comment on Rove and his communications with others. That woman wasted a question.

I am terribly disappointed that Fox broke away from Tony's press conference too. Oh well, we heard enough to know what we already knew....Tony Snow is PERFECT for this job, and I can't wait for his next press conference!

Me thinks Helen Thomas and Madeline Albright were separated at birth.

Because no one can take that much ugly in one place.

I liked Hegal yesterday trying to argue that the National Guard has no business guarding the Nation. It's not thier job.

If the NATIONAL GUARD's job is not in the BUSINESS OF GUARDING THE DAMNED NATION, then why the hell do we have a NATIONAL GUARD??????? What fool said this? He has to be off his rocker. Oh, he is a politician. Case closed.
