CNN AIRS BUSH REHEARSAL LIVE; NETWORK CALLS 'MISTAKE'
Mon May 15 2006 20:37:17 ET
CNN aired President Bush rehearsing his immigration speech from the Oval Office on Monday night!
The embarrassing images and audio [16 seconds total] captured the president starting and stopping his message, then looking at the White House media advisor for direction.

"The president is rehearsing and the network pool inadvertently went to the president as he is rehearsing," anchor Wolf Blitzer explained.
The development comes just six months after CNN mistakenly placed a bold black 'X' mark over Vice President Cheney's face as he gave a speech.

If they did this to Bill Clinton, Hillary would've made sure heads rolled over at CNN HQ.
As it is, CNN just earns itself another black mark, and loses yet more viewers to Fox News.

what do you expect from the Chicken Noodle Network?
But this begs the question -- why did the WH allow these clowns to tape the rehearsal??

The feed is live and must be given to the networks in order to have a seamless transition at 9 pm EST.
Only detestable networks lie to the White House and misuse their privilege.

Wolf Blitzer blamed it on the "network pool."
Then, Wolfman, why didn't all the other networks screw up the same way?
I say this was purposeful.

Typical of the media's unending attempts to smear Bush. So? Politicians should have the threat of a camera being on them on a regular basis. Any given day, any given time while they are on public property. Then perhaps these political hacks wouldn't be practically worshipped as some are.

Of course two years ago when CNN carried the live feed from the screw-up at the sKerry convention, it was a classic!

Right. They should pay a price. Tony should mention this and publicly blast their incompetence. The admin should not question their motives publicly as there is no evidence of that. However, other Republicans should do that FOR them. Tag team. Our side doesn't seem to understand how to play hardball.
To: wagglebee
CNN should have all press access to the WH suspended for 60 days.
