Now he is talking to the illegals about learning english and going from picking the vegetables to opening a grocery. He reaches out to lawbreakers to assure them he will make sure they have opportunity and craps on the legal citizens.

He should have stopped after the first 7 minutes rather than go on to describe his amnesty plan that isn't amnesty. Geez.

Whereas the other half of the country was pretty pissed at what he was saying, but then were mollified by the second half of the speech.

At least OUR side is guaranteed a place in the bill. If a bill is passed, that bill will provide border security.

But you won't get that without a comprehensive plan. I disagree that we NEED a comprehensive plan up front, but I DO agree it's the only way to get a bill this year.

Tancredo said he'd rather have NO bill. Smith said he'd rather have NO bill.

I'm willing to bet that a majority of americans will be much happier with a bill that has border security AND the other stuff, than would be happy with no bill at all.

If Clinton had done this, we'd be fighting to get border security ADDED to the bill. It's progress.
