Gotta agree with that. When the ultimate result of breaking the law (and illegals break a bunch besides crossing the border) is a reward that is an amnesty.

I've never liked paying taxes or the IRS but I feel the same way every time they have a tax amnesty. Either you enforce a law or you don't have a law.

How about you go back to being silent. Do the board a favor. I've only ripped Bush for months for domestic screw ups I didn't like. The border being the chief one of them. Get a grip. Calling me a Bushbot is like calling clinton a man who understands and respects the sanctity of marriage.

A guest worker program is not even close to amnesty. And even if it was, what's your brilliant proposal to try and make it where people have a structure they have to obey to work in the country? Because it's funny, I've seen a lot of self-appointed geniuses ripping Bush and what he said tonight, but those same people don't seem to have any real life practical actionable solutions of their own. I just see a bunch of Monday morning Quarterbacks ripping what Bush said, but having no real solutions of their own. When Bush is a moron, I've called him such, but when he finally starts to get something right, it doesn't make me a "Bushbot" to say he got something right.

And you know, you guys who call people "Bushbots" truly are as annoying as liberals who call Conservatives facist nazis. Just because I don't hate all things Bush all the time doesn't make me a Bushbot. This thread has really turned childish.
