Agreed. Some people just don't think. Or, if they try they are failing to use a bit of logic. There are not enough govenment employees to listen to all the phone calls that the left believes are being monitored. There are no names with the numbers but somehow Bush & Co. have picked out leftists to track. What a bunch of idiots.

Speaking of which, Hagel is coming to Denver for the GOP Lincoln Day dinner. It will be interesting to see how much of a failure that will be.

Happy Mother's Day to all Moms!

Thanks AB & Good Morning to everyone!

Another snub on Russert from the WH. Newt invites himself by siding with Colmes on H&C.

Fox should be good minus Kristol.

Does Fox now think we are as stupid as the other MSM does??

Fox is losing it's credibility & lost it's brain. It's reporters play sudoku and just read now and then what AP or NYTimes says as real news.

Nicely put, Alas.

Washington Post, New York Times, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, Detroit Free Press, Los Angeles Times, Boston Herald - all these papers have editorialized along with all broadcast & cable networks too. against NSA Data program.

Poll: Most Americans Support NSA's Efforts. If ABC, Wash.Post says 63% are supporting NSA's Efforts, we can take it that the real numbers will be more if we take their push-polling efforts to account.

And these people in the media constantly hammering about President's approval rating [even as GOP successfully extends tax-cut and Bret Kavannah on way to confirmation]. Why would the MSM think that Americans are going to care or believe whatever they say ANYTHING about war, economy, polls, security or anything else?

For all the folks that are ready to throw GWB and the Republican party by the wayside because of disagreements within the conservative movement, there are some things that should be considered.

Bush's tax cut would be revoked.

His No Child Left Behind would be gutted (except for the money to the schools) guaranteeing ignorance from public school graduates.

The Medicare plan would drop private company's participation and be totally government run and funded, just as Gore wanted.

There would be no chance for additional conservative judges to be appointed for any level, much less the Supreme Court.

Repeal of Roe v. Wade would be impossible.

Illegal immigrants would be given amnesty and citizenship, guaranteeing Dem control of many southwestern states. No wall, no nothing!

America would turn tail and run from Iraq, making OBL very happy, and letting the rest of the Muslim world know we are the wimps OBL says we are.

Iran will get a nuclear weapon.

Israel would be abandoned in favor of Palestine.

No new refineries, no nuclear plants, no drilling for oil or gas in the continental US would be allowed.

Labor unions will be running homeland security.

We can watch while every moonbat charge of the last six years is investigated by Congress....tying up the Administration and the military testifying.

No true conservative could hope for a Dem win in November, and anyone on this forum hoping for such to punish Republicans is a fool.

I don't say ignore the polls because they are a snap shot of American opinion at the moment, but I continue to be pleased President Bush does not govern according to polling results.

I wonder what happened to the award I was expecting for MY special " Graphics " Photo-Shop entry?

The one where I had Bill Clinton in a Gitmo Cell! Surrounded by women fanning him and feeding him grapes as he comments,"....Nothing like the U.S. for knowing how to treat Detainees!!!..." and Hillary in the foreground saying,
"..At least with Bill out of my hair for the next year or so I STILL might have some chance of getting the Nomination without HIM saying or doing something that will screw me up!!...now if no-one will leak THIS story I'll be home-Free!!....er...NY Slimes?....you listening?..."

Oh Well....I WOULD have posted it!....but everytime I tried to sort a pic to paste of Hillary I ended up throwing up everywhere so I never finished!-But good idea? Right?( Thank GOD we can't post Sound-Bites!;"..I am SICK and TIRED of people saying to me...that..Blah..Blah..Blah.."

Yes, and he says he's a trained economist. IF so, he slept through the most important parts of the program.

Miss Marple, I feel that republicans can hold PBS & NPR to account from being too partisan, by threatening with funding. Why govt. subsidising at all?

Oh, now he says the war is over, there is no war. He thinks this is all a "fear industry" in order to allow a few guys to make money.

Not to worry, Hun.

Couple of days ago, Karl Rove spoke at Ritz Carlton in Tyson's Corner, VA. [ Council for National Policy's 25th anniversary celebration ]. He was happy, humorous & optimistic. Media was not allowed.

But one comment of Rove was shared with many GOPers - "Media is fantasizing with democratic take-over of house & senate. That 's just it. I am absolutely confident we will have a Republican Senate and a Republican House".

Palast says that Jeb Bush and Katherine Harris fixed the election in Florida by scrubbing black people from the voting roles and that the 2008 elections are already determined.

"My husband is doing the dinner for me ...thinking I would sleep late this morning. Unfortunately, my two cats had other ideas,"

Two problems: 1)What to make for dinner? 2)Bothersome cats. The solution to both problems is obvious - and a twofer.

The government doesn't subsidize C-SPAN, which is my point.

I wish the pulic radio and tv stations would be held to a standard of impartiality, but every time there is a threat of withholding funds, PBS drags out Bert, Ernie, Big Bird, This Old House, and the Boston Pops and acts like the PBS critics are a bunch of meenies.
