THIS WEEK (ABC): First lady Laura Bush; Sens. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb., and Joe Biden, D-Del.; actress Reese Witherspoon.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Hadley; former national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski; Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn.; Abdul-Illah al-Khatib, Jordanian foreign minister.
Laura is doing a bang-up job.
The only reason that it is new news is that Fitzgerald announced it will be included at the trial.
No problem. I get corrected when I'm wrong and love every minute of it because I hate it when I misunderstand something or misstate it.
That is a complete insult to the men and women in the military
Laura just did a good job poiinting out that the press should be talking about the response of the local and state governments as well (in regards to Katrina).
AND she's lookign quite beautiful this Mother's Day!
Great post - worth considering for special award.
That's what I mean. Judges and the judiciary, the presidency, the US House and US Senate. The only thing left are government workers who are still more Democrat than Republican. For every problem we have, we have to realize Democrats are in worse shape and have more problems as their whacko left controls their purse strings.
Good responses on gay rights and a constitutional amendment from Laura. She sensed the trap and did a nice seguey.
Very well put dad and I were discussing the obession with polls yesterday and he said something very similar to that.
Good for her! Thanks!!! (Looking forward to seeing her.)
Thanks snugs....conservatives, especially some of our radio personalities, need to remember what is at stake here.
MTP
Newt is sidestepping Russert's direction question about 'what to do with illegals whose children are born here'.
All Newt can respond is "there are ways..."
Newt was criticizing the last amnesty and the failure of the government to enforce its provisions. [Who was in charge of the House when that bill got passed? uuuhhhhhh... Newt.]
Of course!!
No snugs, Fitz announced nothing, besides filing in a brief. Media SELECTIVELY chose something to push what it wants. IF anything, media completely IGNORED when Libby's lawyer said they will produce FIVE witnesses who will say under oath that Wilson outed Plame to them.
Mary Cheney up next.
Gotta man the thread today and it looks like another big one as well.
I see the C-spam looneys have been out in full force today blaming GWB for everything under the sun and then some.
I"ll tell you Morgan, every time this wire tapping BS comes up I have to sort to of laugh at the comparisons between how this adm. does business and how the prior one did it's business.
This adm is not the one that:
1. Used the IRS to intimidate political foes and continues that little trick today for as far as we know.
2.Mysteriously lost those tricky and hard to find FBI files which once again are probably being used against our guys and theirs for all we know yet today.
.3.Actually kills their lawyers and then uses the Nat. Park service to cover the entire thing up instead of just accidentally wounding them, huge difference there.
4.Sells nuclear secrets to our worst enemies, the Chinese, for a few campaign dollars after meeting with Buddihst monks in their temple where there is no controlling legal authority.
Sorry that's not us, that's another administration. And when the rats go after us on a technicality that we may have violated some obscure fisa or whatever law that might tend to prohibit us from stopping terrorists, excuse me if I don't get too awfully worked up about it.

Laura Bush is the epitome of a Good Woman and a Loving Wife and Mother. That he married her is proof positive that GWB is a genius. :)
