But she carries large support with the Democratic base: al Quada, illegal immigrants, Communists, Members of ALF and ELF, people who can't read, the dead, people in comas...

Which would only point out her incompetence. I don't think she has a chance. In fact, I'm one of those who isn't convinced that Hillary will be the nominee. You could be right (and hopefully you are). Just don't ever underestimate the gullibility of the American electorate. ;-)

But she can also carry support from the myriad of fence sitters --people who don't pay a whole lot of attention to politics and current events but feel that it is their civic duty to stand in line once every four years and cast a vote for president.

"The fastest way to stop McCain is for someone else to beat him in New Hampshire. Right now, I don't see that happening."
McCain is dead meat, I don't doubt he can pick up 30% in a primary, and will pick up states, but he is Bob Dole old, subject to temper fits and carrying CFR and the Gang of 14 on his back. It just ain't gonna happen.
To: ncountylee
The last line was the only correct statement in the piece.
Which Democrat will take Hillary on? They need to make a hard decision between now and Christmas. And have a lot of guts.
None of the Democrat wannabenahmmanees will have the nerve to bring up such subjects as...
-the Rose Law Firm billing records,
-Craig Livingstone,
-Travelgate,
-the pardoning of the FALN terrorists,
-Filegate,
-Cattlegate,
-the secrecy surrounding the (failed) Hillarycare,
-the secrecy of Hillary Rodham's Wellesley senior thesis,
-her indoctrination into the fifth column at the knee of Saul Alinsky,
-the allegations of high-order sleights of hand in the Peter Paul "issue",
and let's not forget the White House furniture and silverware that was somehow mistakenly stolen.
I can predict with confidence that the the pusillanimity of potential Democrat nominees will prevent them from offending Hillary Rodham.
Hillary will get the nomination walking away, it's all over but the voting.

And if for once the Republicans do their job right and give the country a refresher course on all her crimes, then she may not only be despised but reviled incarcerated.

You're telling me you'd rather see Hillary Clinton in the White House than McCain or Giuliani...is that what you're saying. You won't vote for the Republican...whoever it is...against Hillary?

Don't tell me, go here -
TradeSports political market
- and make some money being right about it.
Right now, McCain is at 38, Allen 18, Romney 14, Guiliani 12. Each pays 100 if that one is nominated and 0 if they aren't.
Personally I'd prefer Cheney or Rumsfeld, neither of whom are running, or Gingrich, who is at 2 and doesn't realistically have a chance. If I have to pick from the others I'll probably vote for Romney in the primaries. Whoever gets it, I'll vote for against the beast in the fall.

I've been thinking about making a Tradesport bet. Even if you think McCain is the man, the numbers don't look right.

On track for what .. an orange jumpsuit ..??
As for her feigned "it's disturbing" .. she didn't think it was disturbing when her husband signed the bill into law. So .. again .. we have the pres wannabe - lying through her teeth. While she's busy with her pals calling Bush a liar .. she's the one who's lying.
She may think she's on track .. but I wouldn't bet my money on it.

Because they continuously complain that the Republicans are dividing the nation, they think Hillary will bring the nation together? Stuff like this just shows their totally corruption in in their quest for power.

Hillary reminds me of Nixon.
The right hated him, the left hated him. He had a reputation for criminal associates and ruthless power-seeking. He made a terrible impression on television and speeches. In person he was distant and strange.
But, like Hillary, he was a brilliant and fanatical power seeker and manipulator.
Remember how he won the election of 1968? Bobby Kennedy assassinated? Wallace wounded by another assassin? A weakened Humphrey as his Democratic opponent. A "secret plan" to end the Vietnam War?
So I will worry about this witch until she starts melting...melting...melting.

No, what I'm saying is that is how the numbers will come down. Far, far too many grassroots conservatives (anti-abortion, pro-2A, patriots-in-general) have worked too hard for too long to take the kind of lying abuse that elites in the Republican party are dishing out. If the choice of either one of these RINO's is pushed down their throats, they will abandon the party to its own demise. The old adage better and enemy that faces you than one that stands behind you with a knife is sound thought for many looking at Republican leadership with critical eyes.
As far as my personal voting would go, I would vote 'R' against the beast. However, I will not abide by this clearly cynical Punch and Judy act for much longer. If it means further power to open socialists, then, perhaps, that may be what is needed to bring the necessary energy to effect real reform instead of transparent pandering and deceit. Conditions trending toward Civil War might be just what is needed to expose our enemies and bring some sense back to our government.

have worked too hard for too long to take the kind of lying abuse that elites in the Republican party are dishing out.So what you're saying is the grassroots R's are a bunch of immature, tantrum throwing children who, if they don't get everything they want, will take their toys to a different party? That's just shameful and dangerous. And, it won't happen.

No, you continually draw different conclusions than what I have said. The problem lies in 'R" leadership - get it? The leadership of the Republican party is too often unwilling to act on the central planks of the party platform and, thus, do NOT represent those who have elected them. Trust me, just like in 1996, it will happen. Just run these RINOs in 2008 and see...

McCain is not a "retooled RAT". Like him or not he has a lifetime ACU rating of 83.
