"The fastest way to stop McCain is for someone else to beat him in New Hampshire. Right now, I don't see that happening."
McCain is dead meat, I don't doubt he can pick up 30% in a primary, and will pick up states, but he is Bob Dole old, subject to temper fits and carrying CFR and the Gang of 14 on his back. It just ain't gonna happen.
- and make some money being right about it.
Right now, McCain is at 38, Allen 18, Romney 14, Guiliani 12. Each pays 100 if that one is nominated and 0 if they aren't.
Personally I'd prefer Cheney or Rumsfeld, neither of whom are running, or Gingrich, who is at 2 and doesn't realistically have a chance. If I have to pick from the others I'll probably vote for Romney in the primaries. Whoever gets it, I'll vote for against the beast in the fall.
