The Democratic Party has the opportunity to nominate a candidate who has the right stuff and someone who could go down in history as a rare statesman-president. The Democrats would be foolish not to recognize such potential in a candidate.

COMMENT:

Is this guy talking about the Al Gore who sometimes slobbers on the podium during his rants and raves.

Is this the same Al Gore who would sell out America to his commie friends.

This article is priceless for the amount of Bull Feces packed onto a page of paper.

You can hear the spirit of the wind whispering, Run Al Run.
The spirit of the earth roars, Run Al Run.
Come on Al, you can hear the voices in your head whispering , Run Al Run.

Oh please do it Al, pleeeese.

From being singled out for a special baggage search and frisking at Reagan National Airport in May 2002 ... Gore understands how the Bush administration and the Republican Party have destroyed the America in which the vast majority of citizens once believed.

What kind of causal link is that? The Democrats in Congress demanded that the TSA be federalized and use a no-profiling random approach to searching airline passengers.

Al Gore needs to give it a rest! He's a "kook" - with idiot ideas and anybody who thinks he's a viable candidate - well .. they have mush for brains.

Any two of Gore, Dean, Carter, Kerry, Clinton. Might as well be entertained. Gore/Dean would be optimal.

Funny how the media that reports Bush's low approval ratings fail to note that the same polls show that both Kerry and Gore's approval ratings are LOWER than Bush's.

Only if Gore agrees to have Howard Dean as a running mate.

>>Should Democrats nominate Al Gore as their 2008 presidential candidate? <<

If they want to lose they should have a bruising nomination battle between Hillary, Gore and Kerry that goes negative and then nominate any of the three.

This is the brilliant mathematician who invented the computer, right?

And the same dude who thinks a half a punch is a vote for him.

And the same dude who was pictured with his rifle aimed at his own head?

And the same dude with that absolutely terrible, monotonous voice?

And the same dude who kissed his wife passsionately, on stage, to prove his love.

And the same dude who would have won the election IF HE HAD CARRIED HIS OWN STATE!!! Bwahahahahaha!!!

"to nominate a candidate who has the right stuff and someone who could go down in history as a rare statesman-president."

mmmm......I don't think so. Think more in terms of Carter with a revenge motive against conservatives. mean and incompetent.

No, he'll win this time. Out of all the Dem possibilities, he scares me the most. He will have the sympathy vote because he received the most popular votes in '02 and people are ready for a change after 8 years of Pubbies. I'd rather see Hitlery or Kerry be the Dem nominee. They could more easily be defeated.

Gore/Hillary! in '08.

Hallry! can serve out Gore's unfinished first term, then two of her own.

At least, that'd be her plan.
