We need a plan of action. This is too serious to just argue back and forth and call people names.

As SoCalPol said early on..........she lives in San Diego and the situation is dire, but she believes the Bush bashers have hijacked the issue and are preventing serious discussion.

I think together we can wrest it back from the hands of the enemy.........YES, the enemy, and start to get something done.

Would you care to explain what is "so far right" about wanting illegal immigration severely curtailed? You are SO confused. Politicians want votes. We are great in number, and there is power on this forum.

If you sit around and gripe about Republicans, and stay home on election day, you accomplish NOTHING.

If we apply great pressure to the Republicans in Congress, and let them know, rationally and seriously that we want them.......no we DEMAND that they get serious.........we can do something positive.

The question is, tru..........are you with us, or against us? Do you want to get something done, or not?

C'mon guy, your back to rhetoric.

I live in California, don't think the foreign national problem is important to me too. But those soldiers are fighting for my family too and I appreciate them.

You fly a Hawaii flag. When is your primary? Has it come to pass yet. This primary season what are you doing. Are you actively campaigning for a conservative Republican. Or other conservatives that have a chance at beating the Dems. Does it serve our valiant troops if your not actively supporting a conservative Republican or other conservatives that can beat a Dem.

The Dems will do more disservice to our troops than all the illegals combined. The Dems will make all their peril for naught. The Dems have proved this with their words and actions.

Work in your primary if it has not passed. Lets get conservative Republicans elected that will aid us in our goal for better border control.

In the mean time please refrain from rhetoric and pass on to me the good ideas you may have to get more conservative Republicans or other conservatives elected to beat the Dems and secure our borders and make our troops service bear the fruit we are beginning to see.

You know, I have wondered about that myself; I wonder if the people who are so uncompromising and strident in their views didn't cause the illegals to take to the streets -- sort of unintended consequences.
